   Working in San and Sam, Marketing and Advertising Agency, made us realize the difficulty that exists between companies when it comes to communication, especially when they work in different fields. We also realized how hard it is to directly reach the person in charge such as a marketer, CEO or owner.

This is where the idea of the league came from. We dreamt about gathering this huge market with all its different fields, entities and intentions in just one place to start networking and exchanging knowledge and communicating.

Research
Then it was research time. We started researching if the idea of a marketing league existed elsewhere before or if any company/ entity initiated such a concept for marketing before or not. The research process ended up by concluding that we were the first initiators of such a concept of a league with the purpose of gathering the marketers.

This initiative was highly appreciated by the Father of Marketing, Dr. Philip Kotler, when we first introduced it to him and he was astonished that this initiative came out from the Middle East.

Branding
The Marketers League logo and identity took us more than 3 months, as we wanted to create a one of a kind brand not only for Egypt but also worldwide. We also wanted to amaze our field, that’s why we were paying so much attention to the details starting from choosing the brand name ‘The Marketers League’, which is simple, direct and to the point, and going through the distinctive design of the logo, which we choose the Italics fond for it to resemble the speed, which is a quality that every successful and professional marketer should have while taking any decision and while adjusting to the market changes.

While creating the logo we focused on designing the ‘M’ in a distinguished texture and Gold color that adds value and richness to the design, and it also suits the both light and dark backgrounds. Additionally, the ‘M’ was designed to look somehow similar to the stage curtain, which resembles introducing the market on the stage of The Marketing League.

Also the signature sign under the word ‘Marketers’ reflects the fact that the marketers are the decision makers at the end of the day. When it came to choosing the wording colors, we decided to stick to the black and white and the Navy blue for the background with the gold stripe in all designs.
